The story of the Bible is the story of Jewish people in the Bible. The Bible is God's communication to the WORLD. But God has chosen the Jewish race to be His tool through which He communicates Himself to the world.
The Jewish race was chosen, not because they were the most numerous people. They were chosen because they were oridinary. God is most readily seen through the lives of ordinary people. Oridinary people become extraordinary when they come in contact with an extraoridinary God.
So when we examine God's interactions with characters of the Bible, these interactions reveal much about the God with whom we have to do.
People studies also reveal much about ourselves. As we read about them and judge them, we actually judge ourselves for we are just like them. They are us and we are them.
These studies examine the lives of famous Biblical characters like: King David, the Apostle Paul, the Apostle Peter, Pontius Pilate, Lucifer (the devil), Judas Iscariot, and the Queen of Sheba.
There are also studies of lesser knowns such as: Jael, and the Rose of Sharon.
Other Biblical characters such as: Cain Abel Seth are named. But they're portraits are incomplete. There's a reason why this is so, which we shall see later.
If there are characters you would like to see, or you would like to contribute to this study of please contact us.
